Bred from four different varieties of Elephant Ear for an incredibly large leafed hybrid with a lower cold tolerance to 70 deg F. An outdoor year round hardy plant for only the hottest USDA Zones 9-11, in all other climates, grow as an indoor house plant. Thrives in warm dappledly sunny sites with high humidity, best foliage color is derived from diffused bright light, as too intense sunlight may cause the leaf edges to turn yellow.
